------------------------------------- The eldest of three, Gerard Bindle was always a bright and playful child, always playing tricks on his siblings and the other children in town. His mother was a wizard, who taught Gerard to speak Draconic, and his father was a farmer, who taught him the value of hard work. One day, Gerard returned from the town square to find his home ransacked and his parents slain. His younger brother and sister were nowhere to be found. With no means to take care of himself and little to call his own but the clothes on his back, Gerard resorted to a life of thievery and begging to make due. Thoughts of his missing family and murdered parents still haunt his dreams, and after years of scrounging, Gerard is finally prepared to find out the truth behind their deaths, and, if possible, find his sister Annabelle, and his brother Jerome.
