He walks into the Arena, m60 in hands and a sword on his back. He waits for the arena to change.

When Ryan enters the center of the arena, the runes on the inner wall flash, and Ryan finds himself in the middle of a small city street.


Road + Sidewalk = 60ft. wide
Buildings are all unlocked and are about 10ft apart and 30ft. x 30ft. most are 2 stories high
Ryan gets a +2 circumstance bonus to skill checks and attack rolls
Quarth will enter in 10 seconds

Ryan quickly goes to the nearest two story building with a window on the second story. He puts in a himself in the window so that he can see the opponent's entrance door. He crouches and sets up his m60 in the window and braces it.

Okay, I get more 2 bonuses. I get +2 to hide and +4 to defense for being in 1/2 cover. Also get +2 to reflex saves via 1/2 cover. I also get +2 to attack checks for being bracing. I also get +1 to attack with my m60 thanks to my red dot. My hide check is 16. Initiative is 16.

Just as Ryan gets into cover, a blue flash leaves Quarth standing in the street. Quarth, looks around and notices Ryan. You will pay for my brother!! He then readies his bow and fires at him, but his arrow strikes the window sill.

Autofire attack, 2 volleys. due to bonuses I get a whopping +10 to my attack. After penalties from autofire, its +8. 26 on my attack, 2 sets of damage. 1 action die on one of the damages. Damage 16 and 8.

Quarth sees the gun readied at him so he leaps back and dodges the attacks. That might have worked on my brother, but you'll need more than that to hurt me! Quarth then fires another arrow at Ryan, which skims past his ear, and then runs towards the building.

"Fine, lets settle this mano a mano." He goes to the entrance to the room he is in, leaving his m60 by the window. He draws his sword, stands, and waits for his opponent to appear.

Quarth enters the building and as he starts to the second floor he drops his bow and readies his sword and shield, when he gets there he starts looking around Where are you, you gutless bastard? Show yourself and I'll teach you how to use a sword. As he walks around he walks right past Ryan's hiding spot

Ryan swings at Quarth as he pasts him."I do what I need to do to survive! NEVER CALL ME GUILTLESS! I HAVE DONE TOO MUCH IN MY LIFE TO BE GUILTLESS! NOW JOIN YOUR BROTHER!" He swings again.

First, 18 to hit. I believe he would be FF since he didn't see me. 1 action die to damage. damage is 12 damage. Second, 14 to hit. if hit 8 damage.

The first attack Quarth blocks with his sheild, the second attack Quarth steps back to avoid. Ah! You are man enough to face me! Quarth swings his sword and clips Ryan's armored shoulder with his blade.

First, 10+5=15, miss. second is an 18+5=23, hit. Last action die to activate threat.(medium sword has threat range of 18-20). Damage straight to wound points. 7+1(str mod)=8 times 2= 16 points of damage to wound points.

Ryan swings at Quarth, As he swings Quarth steps back but loses his footing and Ryan's blade is driven deep int his side rending the plates and cutting deep in between his ribs. Ryan is pulled forward as Quarth falls to the floor unconscious.

May our next meeting be more friendlier."Ryan sheaths his sword and puts his m60 on his back. He then picks up Quarth with his longsword and walks out to the street. He puts him down and retrieves his bow. As he comes out, the medics arrive."He should be fine, he just needs rest."He then walks out of the arena.
