A ring is sitting in front of a circular buiilding. Suddenly a silvery liquid materializes and shoots out. It looks like a pool of mercury but standing up-right. Suddenly a single explorer appears from the pool. the silvery liquid dsappears. He sees a door leading to the interior of the building and heads towards it. He opens the door and heads inside.

Daril is just walking out of the arena after his match when he sees Ryan appear. "By the Grey Father!" A hand flies to the hilt of his sword. "Who are you, and what is that sorcery?"

Ryan takes a quick look behind him."Two things, One I am no idiot. Two that is a Stargate. What happens is that a person puts in a series of seven symbols and a wormhole opens. You step through and are transported millions of light -years to certain destinations based on what symbols a person pushed. There seems to be no DHD here so I can not return to my planet that is called Earth. Now can you please put the sword down, I can turn this saftey off."He readies his fingers to turn off the saftey and fire if he is attacked by this strange medieval-like man.
